How to Login? R3ciprocity.com is a unique online platform that enables you to upload your work and get quality editing and proofreading by real people AND support others by editing and proofreading their work. The credit system allows you to use the platform for free. Proofreading others’ work earns you credits that you can spend to get feedback on your own work. Credits can also be affordably purchased through the platform if you want feedback on your writing without spending time proofreading for others. At the top right of the screen are links to Sign Up or Log In. Click on Sign Up to create your r3ciprocity account. Click on Sign Up to create your r3ciprocity account. Verify The Terms and Conditions In order to create an account, you will need to verify that you are over the age of 13 and that you have read the r3ciprocity terms and conditions. These are requirements for using the platform. Click on the highlighted Terms and Conditions text to read the website’s terms of use. Then you can click on the grey tabs to turn them blue and indicate your agreement. You can register with r3ciprocity through Facebook, Google Plus or LinkedIn. Simply click on the link and log in through your chosen platform. Alternatively you can register with just an email address. Make sure you choose a secure password that is easy for you to remember. :-) Provide Some Profile Information Providing a r3ciprocity name, description and profile picture is optional. This is information that will be shared with individuals on the site when you are proofreading their work or they are proofreading yours. A sentence or two about what you are interested in or why you are on the site will be very interesting to other R3ciprocity users. When you have provided all the relevant information click Register to continue. Your account has been created. Congratulations! Verify Your Email Before you can begin to use the platform, you will need to activate your account. An email from r3ciprocity.com is waiting for you in your inbox. Simply click on the link to activate your account. If you can’t find the email then check your Junk folder. Clicking the link will take you directly to r3ciprocity.com where you will be logged in. You will now be able to use you email and password to log in to the site whenever you like. If the Activate Now! link does not work simply copy and paste the link in the email. Request A Job Or Buy Credits From here you can Request a job which will start you on the process of proofreading the work of others. To do this you will need to proofread/edit a few test documents that are verified by r3ciprocity admin for quality control purposes. The documents are all less than one page in length. Once approved you will be able to review other people’s work and earn credits. Alternatively you can also Buy Credits and start uploading your work for others to edit and proofread for you. When logged into the site you can also view your profile, read the answers to some Frequently Asked Questions and send a message to the r3ciprocity team.
